The County of Page has implemented a local state of emergency due to wildland fires, which places the highest priority on the health and safety of our residents and tourists visiting Page Valley. For updates, please visit https://www.pagecounty.virginia.gov/.

211 West and Fort Valley Rd are closed. Shenandoah National Park has closed Skyline Drive from Thornton Gap (mile 31.5) to Mathews Arm (mile 22.1) due to the Rocky Branch Wildfire. Trail closures include the Appalachian Trail from Elkwallow to Beahms Gap, Rocky Branch, Neighbor Mountain, Jeremys Run, and Byrds Nest 4. A parkwide fire ban remains in effect.
If your travel plans bring you to Page Valley from 03/22/24-03/31/24, please check the following websites and social media in advance to ensure conditions are safe, businesses are open and events have not been canceled.
