Stanley Loves Families

The Stanley Loves Families package begins at Wisteria. This small family-owned and -operated winery welcomes adventurers of all ages, as well as well-behaved pets, as long as they are kept on a leash. The vineyard and farm include 5 acres at the back of the property with scenic walking trails and a sparkling creek, a play area to keep the kids entertained, and lots of cozy outdoor spaces for picnics and conversation. Wisteria is open year-round and hosts the seasonal outdoor concert series “Music Under the Arbor,” as well as other special events.

The Hawksbill Pool is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The pool in Stanley is located at the Hawksbill Recreation Park, a 28-acre park featuring a playground, community center, concession area, picnic shelters, sand volleyball courts, a hiking trail, and more.

Designed for kids 4 to 12 years old, Luray’s Junior Naturalist Program provides participants with an online booklet filled with activities to complete outdoors and at town parks. Kids can mail the completed booklet to the Town of Luray to receive a prize.
