This peaceful retreat offers secluded valley views and a mountaintop creek rushing through the 3-acre property. Inside, the Gramophone offers a 48-foot wall of windows and wooden floors and accents milled from trees that once lived where the cabin now stands. The open floor plan includes a well-stocked kitchen, a “record room” featuring a Crosley player and Kef speakers and a bedroom featuring a California king. The Hotel Laurance

The Hotel Laurance, a charming 12-room boutique hotel in downtown Luray, blends rich history with modern elegance. Built in 1830 as a mercantile, the building was converted to the Hotel Laurance in 1883 by Joseph Parkinson and named for his wife, Laura. It was brought back to life after extensive renovations in 2015, with careful consideration of the hotel’s unique history and design.
